Cost Reinstatement Assessments

The accuracy of the value of the total demolition and rebuild cost within an insurance policy can have a significant impact to the policy holder, such as:

  1. Should the value be insufficient in the event of a claim the policy holder will be left with a shortfall to pay.
  2. If the value is too high then the policy holder will be paying excessive premiums for the cover.

To mitigate the above scenarios we provide commercial and residential landlords, insurance companies and building surveyors with assessments of building reinstatement costs for insurance purposes.

All assessments are undertaken with the latest information from the Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) of the RICS and are specific to a building’s particulars including size, type, construction, location and status e.g listed.

We can also prepare and negotiate claims with loss adjusters and implement reinstatement works.
